Year 6 revision links

Here are the links for the websites that I gave out before the Easter holidays. You can all have a refresher of the maths and grammar that we have been doing in class before next week, so that we are all ready to hit the ground running.

Choose 5 a day primary and complete the activities in January or February that we have not done in class. There are answers too, so you can check how you are doing. If you have forgotten any of the things that come up don’t forget there are videos to remind and help you.

This website is great for revision of word classes and tense which is what we have been working really hard at in class. Read through the examples and then scroll to the bottom for games and activities where you have to fill in missing words etc.

This game requires you to put the correct punctuation into each sentence. You should play the easy version and then move onto hard.

More sentence and punctuation games for you to play

Grammar revision games for you to have a go at. Try the punctuation and sentences ones as punctuation doesn’t feature in the website above.

This website helps you to learn how to spell all of the Key Stage 2 spelling patterns. There are activities and tests to complete. If you scroll down to the bottom you can also work on the word lists for Year 5 and 6. These are the words you must be able to spell by the end of this year. We will be doing lots of work on this after the holidays, so you can get a head start. Please also work on the silent letters, prefixes and suffixes and endings e.g. cious, tious, cian etc

Remember to post a comment to let me know how you get on and if there is anything that you need more help with.

Enjoy the rest of your holiday.

  1. Well done year 6 for the all the hard work you are doing for SATs.

    Good luck this week!

    • No worries Harriet. You should be confident you are going to do brilliantly this week. You have worked really hard. Well done!

  2. I feel that the revision homework is really helping me with my grammar and my maths.

      • What do you need to know? You should enter because your writing is very emotive and the judges would enjoy it. Come on Harriet!
